You can not succeed to pair your Melomind - Android Follow
To pair your Melomind™ headset follow the instructions given in the article How to pair your headset melomind™ via Qr code - Android.
If the following screen appears :
- Make sure your headset is on. If it is the case a blue led flashes on your left earphone.
- Make sure your headset is close to your phone.
- Make sure that the Bluetooth is activated on your phone.
- Make sure that the position is activated in your phone settings.
Why?
Since the release of its version 6.0, Android requires that you have given access to the location of your device to the application and that the location is activated in your device settings to connect your headset or any other bluetooth device. This information is required to detect the presence of the headset. This is an Android requirement and Melomind™ does not process your location data.
If this still does not work :
- Turn off and restart your headset Melomind™.
- Check that the small blue LED flashes well after restarting your headset. If not, your headset is connected to another device.
- Go to your phone's settings.
- Separate MM1B2xxxx and melo_xxxxx in your phone settings.
- If in your phone settings, the bluetooth in your headset appears under another name, for example audio_xxxxxxxx contact our support service.
Both Bluetooth devices should appear as follows:
- Restart Bluetooth on your phone.
- Restart the Melomind™ application.
- Repeat the connection procedure via QR code.
You hear sound in your headset but the application tells you that you are not connected via Bluetooth.
This means that only the Bluetooth audio MMxxxxxxxxxx is connected.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings of your phone.
- Unpair MMxxxxxxxx.
- Repeat the connection procedure via QR code.
